Understanding Sculptra®
Sculptra® Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that helps gradually replace lost collagen—the most common protein in the body that provides structure to the skin. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers which physically fill a specific line or fold instantly, Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) collagen stimulator.
It works deep within the dermis to help revitalize collagen production and restore your skin’s inner structure and volume. As the PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help rebuild the collagen strands that have been lost to aging.

The Process

Sculptra requires patience. It is a series-based treatment where results accumulate over time as your body produces new collagen.
The Treatment
The product is mixed with sterile water and lidocaine for comfort. You will look "full" immediately after injection, but this is water volume which absorbs within 24-48 hours.
The Activation
Over the next 4-8 weeks, the PLLA microparticles stimulate your fibroblasts. You likely won't see visible changes during the first few weeks. Trust the process.
The Result
By month 3 or 4 (after your 2nd or 3rd session), structural improvements become visible. Results can last up to 2 years, with a single annual maintenance treatment recommended.
